Meet Our Teachers
Tiffany Teele: I am excited to begin my 10th year at First Presbyterian Church Preschool. I taught the M-Th PreK class for four years prior to becoming Director in 2014. It is an honor to be the fourth Director since our school opened over 55 years ago. I’ve been an early childhood educator and parent volunteer for over 17 years. I realized when I was in kindergarten that one day I wanted to work with children and I can’t wait to share my enthusiasm and love of learning with you and your children!
Sam Kelly: I am very excited to be returning to the First Pres Preschool Family. I began working here 7 years ago, first as an aide, and then as a teacher for the 2-year old classes. My daughters started college so I felt the need for more hours and became an instructional assistant in a Special Day Class working with preschool aged children who have special needs, but my heart never left here, and I am thrilled to be back and am enjoying my new role as Administrative Assistant. I’m looking forward to getting to know you all and being as helpful as I can be!
Angela Antetomoso: Hi my name is Angela Antetomoso. This is my 3rd year teaching the MWF 3’s. Previously I was as an aide in all the classrooms and taught the T/TH 2’s. I went to College of San Mateo studying business and real estate and got my real estate license. I later decided to go to Skyline College where I took child psychology. With that, I have 24 units of Early Education Classes. I enjoy living on the coast with my husband and two sons. I am a leader for Parents in Prayer at my son’s school and a soccer mom. In my free time I walk my Schnoodle pup and enjoy the sunsets over the ocean right from my backyard.
Anabella Barrientos: This is my 8th year at First Presbyterian Preschool and my 6th year teaching. This year I will be teaching MWF 2’s. I love children and working with them is my passion.
Michelle Lowell-Brogger: This is my 16th year as an early childhood educator and my 10th year at FPC Preschool teaching the Monday-Thursday Pre-K class.
Carol Cory: This is my 9th year as the Monday/Wednesday/Friday Teacher’s Aide at First Presbyterian Church Preschool. Prior to working here, I worked as a Special Ed Aide for the San Mateo County Office of Education, followed by being a stay-at-home mom for 5 years. I am very excited to be part of such a great preschool!
Kim DeWitt: Aloha, my name is Kim DeWitt. I am delighted to be a teacher at First Presbyterian Church Preschool! My children and my nephews went to preschool here. While at Stanford I taught at Bing Nursery School and after graduation I moved to San Francisco and taught with Mission Head Start, the San Francisco school district, and Special Infant Services. I was born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu and I came to the mainland for college. My husband John and I met at Stanford University and we married after graduate school. We enjoy walking, hiking, biking, swimming, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
Lynne Hurrell: I am a teacher in the Monday-Thursday Pre-K class. I started my career in London, England. After a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, I taught in several elementary schools before getting to travel and teach in Paris, France and then New Jersey. I settled in California in 2010. I completed my “Music Together” training in 2017 and have already enjoyed 9 years here at First Pres.
Diane Llamas: I am proud to be starting my 17th year of teaching at FPCP. I teach both 3-year-old classes. In addition to having a B.S. degree, I hold a Child Development Master Teacher Permit. I enjoy incorporating Spanish, ASL, and God’s love into the curriculum. I believe we can all appreciate the similarities and differences that make each one of us unique. I absolutely love these preschool years and all the wonder and amazement that each child brings.
Salam Saba: I will be starting my 14th year of teaching Preschool and my 4th year at FPCPS teaching the Monday/Wednesday/Friday PreK class. Volunteering at my children’s school made me realize that I love working with children. I have a passion for Science and I enjoy incorporating experiments with the children.
Katie Teele: This is my second year at First Presbyterian Church Preschool. I teach MWF2’s and TTH3’s. I look forward to meeting everyone this school year.
Janet Vaughan: This is my 7th year at First Presbyterian Church Preschool. I previously taught the 3-year-old classes and this year I will be the Aide in the TTH3 class. I feel very blessed to be working at such a wonderful school! Prior to teaching here, I taught at a small co-op nursery school in Sausalito for 16 years.
